1 Siem
Reap
Arrive
in Siem Reap, meet your guide and transfer to hotel for check in
and tour briefing. If time permits, before sunset we climb the short
distance to the temple of Phnom Bakheng for magnificient view of
the temples of Angkor. Enjoy welcome dinner with Khmer traditional

2 Siem Reap & Temples of Angkor
Today
we start our visit to The Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, famous Bayon
complex, Phimean Akas temples, Elephants and Leper King Terraces.
In the afternoon we will visit Taprom, and Angkor Wat temple. Overnight

3 Siem Reap & Temples of Angkor
This
morning we may wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Angkor
Wat temple. After breakfast we continue onto visit to Pre Rup, Mebon,
Tasom, Neak Pean and Preah Khan temples in the morning and then
Thommanun, Chaosay Tevoda temple Spean Thma (ancient bridge), gate
of death, terrace of Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan. Overnight in

4 Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
This
morning we fly to Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh. We tour the city
including a visit to the maginficent Khmer National Museum and the
Tuol Sleng Museum with its disturbing account of Pol Pot's reign
of terror. In the after noon we see Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda,
Wat Phnom Don Penh and sunset cruise on the Tonle Sap River. Overnight
in Phnom Penh. (includes:

5 Phnom Penh - Saigon
Today
we fly to Saigon, Vietnam's biggest city. Transfer to your hotel
and the remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the city
on your own. Overnight in Saigon. (includes:

6 Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels
Absorb
the frenetic atmosphere of Saigon as we take time to explore the
city's historic landmarks, pagodas, tree-lined boulevards and bustling
markets, the Cholon well-known as China Town of Saigon. We will
enjoy a tasty lunch of "Pho" noodle soup in restaurant "Pho 24"
and then travel to Cu Chi amazing tunnel system built by Communist
guerillas during the Vietnam War. Overnight in Saigon. (includes:

Day
7 Saigon - Mekong Delta
The
next day we experience our journey to Mekong Delta - Vietnam's most
fertile region and the source of a large amount of the country's
fresh food. Enjoy lunch with local specialties. Overnight in Saigon.

8 Danang - Hoi An
Flying
to Danang on Vietnam's central coast, we visit the city's fascinating
Cham Museum before traveling the short distance south to China Beach.
Visit the Marble Mountain. It's then on to the quaint merchant town
of Hoi An. Overnight in Hoian. (includes:

9 Hoi An
This
morning we walk cobblestone lanes visiting markets, historic houses
and temples. We have a chance to try our hand at Vietnamese cooking
at restaurant Red Bridge. Boat cruise in the afternoon and we see
handicraft villages of Hoi An. Overnight in Hoian. (includes:

Day
10 Hoian - Hue
This
day we take the coastal drive north crossing Hai Van Pass to Hue,
Vietnam's former imperial capital. In Hue we see the impressive
tomb of former Emperor Tu Duc and the ruins of the former royal
residence, the Hue Citadel. Overnight in Hue. (includes:

11 Hue ~ Halong Bay
Next
morning after a dragon boat along the serene Perfume River to see
Thien Mu Pagoda in Hue we fly to Hanoi and travel to Halong Bay,
Vietnam's most spectacular natural landscape. Overnight in Halong.

12 Halong Bay - Hanoi
We
spend the following morning cruising amongst the thousands of limestones
islets of the bay before returning to Hanoi, Vietnam's capital and
cultural center, a stylish and gracious city that retains a unique
old world charm. Overnight in Hanoi. (includes:

13 Hanoi
Today
we explore Hanoi's charming French colonial boulevards, tour the
ancient Temple of Literature, the amazing life of Ho Chi Minh visiting
his mausoleum, the house on stilts and the museum. In the afternoon
we explore Hanoi by cyclo, driving through the lively Old Quarter,
a series of 36 ancient streets where peddlers trade their wares
as they have done for centuries. Tour Hanoi's old house in Ma May
street and then walking tour through Hang Be market and enjoy famed
water puppet theatre. Overnight in Hanoi. (includes:

14 Hanoi - Vientiane - Luang Prabang
We
fly to Vientiane, the world's sleepiest capital city. We explore
Vientiane visiting famous site such as That Luang, Wat Sisaket and
Monument Anousavari. In the afternoon we fly north to the charming
former capital Luang Prabang. Set amongst mountains at the confluance
of the Mekong and Khan Rivers, this delightful town retains a unique
cham rarely found in Asia today. Overnight in Luang Prabang. (includes:
Breakfast)

15 Luang Prabang
Today
we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, Wat Mai,
we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration
of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of
the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night
Bazaar. This evening you will see a traditional Baci ceremony and
original Luang Prabang traditional dance show performance. Overnight
in Luang Prabang. (includes:

16 Luang Prabang & Pak Ou Cave
Next
day we'll see the city's oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent
Wat Xiengthong, which represent the classical architecture of Luang
Prabang temple before traveling by boat through beautiful mountain
scenery to the sacred Buddhist cave of Pak Ou Caves. Along the way,
we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local
rice wine and Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight
in Luang Prabanga.

17 Luang Prabang - Vientiane
Early
this morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the
daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black
Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including
the ubiquitous sticky rice. This is the highlight of tour prior
goodbye to this charming city. After breakfast, we visit the silver
smith's and Fine Arts School. Finally we return to Vientiane and
mark the end of our journey with farewell dinner. Overnight in Vientiane.
